Set on the south-western coast of Bali, the Soori Bali nestles in the scenic Tabanan Regency. The nearest airport is Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is just a little over an hour from the resort.
Best time to go
May to October are generally considered the best times of year to travel with average temperatures around 31°C. Rainy season is between December and March.
Our thoughts
This is a strikingly good-looking hotel located in an undeveloped part of Bali. You can walk for hours on the volcanic sands, whilst observing Balinese life at its simplest. Soori Bali is great for weddings, honeymoons and family holidays alike. Our favourite room is ocean villa 207, which is blessed with stunning views of the sea and offers complete privacy. If powder white beaches are your thing, you may be put off by the black volcanic sand.

Cotta Restaurant - Cotta serves continental and regional Indonesian dishes in a semi-covered open air stylish restaurant. It also features a fresh bakery, cooking island centrepiece and a cigar alcove.
Drift - Drift is the ideal spot to chill out and sip a nice tea accompanied by savoury dishes.
Coast - Coast has an open kitchen with a teppanyaki grill as the centrepiece. This area is also used for cooking classes, demonstrations and themed dinners.
There are eight Mountain Pool Villas - an out-and-out temple of luxury and indulgence. Here, indoor and outdoor spaces alternate, providing an unrivalled unwinding experience unlike any other. The sun-drenched lawns fringing the private pool and the lounge pavilion are an amazing spot to enjoy Bali's stunning lifestyle and sceneries, while the contemporary design adds a touch of refined elegance to this unique paradise.

Younger guests are very welcome and a babysitting service is available. The three-bedroom villas work best for families. All ages can participate in Balinese dancing lessons to get into the local groove. Rafting, horseback riding, surfing and bicycling are on offer for older children as well. Many of the customised programmes, focused on cultural activities, are suitable for youngsters, but the Leisure Concierge and personal butlers are the best sources of advice for this type of family planning. Special children's menus are available at all of the restaurants.
