Dining |
Nong Yao Restaurant - The Nong Yao Restaurant offers Thai, Laotian, Burmese and Western cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The setting is a rustic affair with hurricane lamps dotted around, along with a double fire place to make it cosy. Breakfast and lunch are served with a local flare; local hill-tribe artifacts sit on the tables while local stoneware lines the walls. Dinner is much more Four Seasons-esque with white linen tables and bespoke fittings.
Burma Bar - An open-air thatched-roof lounge within sight of the Elephant Camp and overlooking Burma and the Ruak River, Burma Bar is the perfect place for a pre-dinner cocktail or post dinner night cap.
There are 15 tents, five which are Deluxe and 10 of which are Superior. Located in the heart of the jungle and resting within the camp or on along a hill side, they showcase views of Ruak River, Burma, the mountains of Laos; or the jungle and Golden Triangle. All tents come equipped with a king sized bed as well as a bath, outdoor rain shower and living room area. In the Deluxe tents you'll find a custom-made private wooden hot tub on the outdoor deck.
