Next it’s on to Khao Sok Nature Reserve where you will have the chance to get familiar with Thailand’s wildlife, particularly its elephants in what promises to be an unforgettable experience. Finally it’s time to hit the beach as you head to Phuket, enjoy some quality family time lounging on the sandy shores, taking part in some water sports, and exploring the many different sites of Phuket. This is sure to be a holiday that provides memories to last a lifetime and helps you fit in some quality family time together.

Day 1: UK Departure
Depart on your overnight flight to Chiang Mai via Bangkok.
Day 2: The Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai (BB)
Arrive at Chiang Mai Airport and be met and transferred to The Dhara Dhevi where you will be spending the next 3 nights. This beautiful resort pays homage to agricultural traditions and feature rice paddies, lush gardens, and more which are a delight to wander round. For the children there’s an excellent kids club which is open daily and offers activities like Thai boxing, rice planting, and Thai dancing.
The rest of your day is to be spent at leisure so perhaps familiarise yourself with the resort or explore Chiang Mai a little, the excellent location of this hotel makes doing so very convenient.
Day 3: The Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai (BB)
Experience traditional aspects of Thai culture this morning, rising early to offer alms to the monks. Offering food is one of the oldest and most common rituals of Buddhism, and taking part in this is sure to be a profound experience. The rest of your day is at leisure to enjoy the resort or explore Chiang Mai.
Day 4: The Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai (BB)
Today you will have another opportunity to embrace traditional Thai culture with a day trip to the Long Neck Karen villages. These villages are still relatively untouched by the outside world compared to other parts of Thailand and it is fascinating to see the way of life that is followed here.
Day 5: Elephant Hills, Khao Sok (BB)
It’s time to leave Chiang Mai today, flying to Phuket and travelling onwards to Khao Sok Nature Reserve where you will check in to Elephant Hills for the next 3 nights.
The action begins right away today with you enjoying a full day safari where highlights include a mangrove exploration by speed boat, canoeing through one of the many Mangrove Channels and a cruise on board a Classical Burmese Junk.
Day 6: Elephant Hills, Khao Sok (BB)
Today you will enjoy the activity that the resort is most famous for and gives it its name, the elephant interaction experience. This insightful and ethical interaction allows visitors to get up close and personal with the elephants, however in the interest of these gentle giants health and happiness rides are not permitted.
Following the elephant encounter you will have the chance to enjoy a canoe safari down the Sok River, offering you the chance to spot even more wildlife.
Day 7: Elephant Hills, Khao Sok (BB)
Spend a full day on Cheow Larn Lake today enjoying a boat trip before heading for lunch at a local raft house. This afternoon enjoy some canoeing and a stop at a local market.
Day 8: Anantara Phuket Villas, Phuket (BB)
This morning enjoy jungle trekking by foot through Southern Thailand’s unique rainforest environment before transferring to the seaside town of Phuket after lunch. Upon arrival check into Anantara Phuket Villas where you will spend the next 5 nights.
Day 9: Anantara Phuket Villas, Phuket (BB)
Your first day in Phuket is to be spent at leisure. Perhaps enjoy some quality family time on the beach, either relaxing or trying your hand at the many water sports that are on offer. Alternatively, parents might opt to drop the children off at the Turtle Club where there are all manner of fun activity on offer for the kids while they head to the spa, go for a yoga session, a kick-boxing class, or one of the many other fantastic options that are available.
Day 10: Anantara Phuket Villas, Phuket (BB)
Today the family will get to enjoy a half day visit to Splash Jungle Waterpark. This is one of Thailand’s largest and most impressive water parks with a variety of water pools and water slides to keep the whole family entertained.
Day 11 & 12: Anantara Phuket Villas, Phuket (BB)
The final two days are at your leisure to enjoy the beaches, sunsets, cuisines and activities on offer in Phuket. Make sure to fit in some of the fantastic activities offered by the resort and spend some quality family time together.
Day 13: Departure
Today fly from Phuket back to Bangkok airport where you’ll connect with your flight home.
