The Beijing Capital International airport is about an hour away and is served by domestic as well as international flights. The Beijing West train station is 40 minutes away and has high-speed trains from Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzen etc.
Best time to go
Generally speaking, the best months to visit China are in the spring or autumn months of April, May, September and October as temperatures are warm and it is fairly dry.

The Chinese Restaurant - The Chinese Restaurant features traditional Cantonese featuring Peking Duck and original Imperial dishes. The restaurant is situated around manicured courtyards. Here the chefs focus on freshness and flavour with recipes handed down from generations past. Private dining is also available.
Naoki - Chef Naoki Okumura's famous French Kaiseki cuisine beautifully combines the best of French techniques with Japanese artistry. Through fresh ingredients and continuously updated menus, you'll have a piece of artwork on your plate each time it's served.
The Reflection Pavilion - This is the house bar with stunning views across the Chinese lotus ponds. It's the perfect place to relax post dinner with a great selection of house cocktails and a specialist Cigar Room for the true cigar aficionados.
All the rooms at Aman Summer Palace run with the same regal, elegant and calming theme. The suites are surrounded by gardens which, like a maze, crisscross with stately paths leading you to your room. Jin clay tiles line the floor while traditional bamboo screens at to the mystery and romance of these stylish and well-designed rooms. The vaulted beamed ceiling compliment the huge king sized beds (which offer a great night sleep), while the bathrooms have twin sinks and a separate shower.
