Frances Geoghegan

With over 25 years experience in the industry, Frances is a highly respected travel professional who has retained her zest for exploring the world and expanding her knowledge. Spa & wellness travel are a particular passion, with Asia her first love, and Burma her long-time favourite destination. Her travels have taken her around the world numerous times, from the Mayan ruins of Guatemala and plains of the Serengeti, to the temples of India and the deserts of Chile, but she still hopes to tick off Taiwan, North Korea & Nicaragua from her list of places to see.

Frances Geoghegan's travel tip

If you travel regularly, enrol in an airline’s frequent flyer programme. You will be surprised how quickly points can add up, and being a member will afford you greater priority for upgrades - it is also nice to begin any trip with a visit to a relaxing airport lounge.

Joanne Woolley

Joanne Woolley is a veteran in the travel industry and a seasoned traveller herself.  She loves Shanghai for food, where she felt spoilt for choice with so many new restaurant openings and Hanoi is her favourite city for romance with its tree-lined boulevards and picturesque lake.  Cambodia is the next destination on her travel horizon - particularly Angkor Wat and Song Saa Island.  A balloon ride over the temples in Bagan tops her bucket list.

Joanne Woolley's travel tip

Take a photocopy of your passport, pack all toiletries in plastic zip bags and ask museum staff or your local guide for local insider tips.

Klaudia Orr

Klaudia has worked in the travel industry for over ten years, owing to her extreme passion for travel and wealth of first-hand experience. Of all the destinations she has visited, Klaudia found it hard to pick a favourite, but says the incredible scenic beauty of New Zealand wowed her more than anywhere else and therefore has to secure the top spot. There are many more places on Klaudia's travel bucket-list, with her sights currently set on exploring the magic of South Africa where she wants to experience the thrills of a safari.

Klaudia Orr's travel tip

If you travel on an Airbus A380 try to pre-book your economy seats on the upper deck if available. The seat configuration is 2-4-2 on the upper deck and  3-4-3 on a lower deck which means there's more space on the upper deck and you'll be much more comfortable!

Chris Wain

Chris Wain has been working in the travel industry for well over 20 years now and has travelled far and wide during this time. Having visited over 25 countries in Africa and countless others in Asia including Thailand and Myanmar, there are few corners left in the world that he is yet to venture. Africa will always hold a special place in Chris’ heart, with a gorilla-trekking trip to the Congo Republic next up on his travel bucket list, however Asia is also another gem in his eyes.
