Summary
The simple Volcano Lodge with first class views is surrounded by dense tropical rainforest, looking out towards the spectacular cone of Arenal volcano.
The modern guest rooms are set around two swimming pools and a pleasant garden, and are comfortable with plenty of natural light. Each guest room has a private bathroom and a terrace, and many enjoy outstanding views of Arenal. There is also a spa, offering massages and facials, and two Jacuzzis, while the al fresco restaurant is nicely situated beside the pool with the volcano rising imposingly above.
The hotel offers many adventurous excursions including hikes to waterfalls, kayaking, river rafting, horse riding, canyoning and quad bike rides.
