The Oberoi Rajvilas resembles a Rajput fort constructed of red sandstone, the same stone that gives Jaipur the title of the "Pink City". The resort offers rooms, suites, and huge luxurious Rajasthani tents and is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with ponds, pools, fountains and hand-carved elephants. The resort also has its own little temple and a haveli housing the spa.

Our thoughts
This resort is located only 15 minutes away from the city centre of Jaipur and gives guests the rare opportunity to experience life as India's Rajput princes once did surrounded by ornate architecture, manicured gardens, and an impeccable staff. The resort offers a spa inside an extensively renovated and restore Rajasthani haveli as well as a 280 year old Shiva temple. All rooms have large four poster beds and sunken marble baths overlooking private walled gardens. Air-conditioned luxury tents have embroidered interior canopies, old style baths and outdoor decks.

Raj Mahal - Raj Mahal is an international restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring a selection of dishes from around the world, many of which are prepared from fresh produce straight from the hotel's own garden.
Surya Mahal - Surya Mahal is an Indian speciality restaurant offering regional delicacies from diverse parts of India. The restaurant's menu includes a variety of authentic dishes not commonly found in most Indian restaurants. Within the restaurant is a Tandoor bar.
Rajwada Library Bar - The Rajwada Library Bar is an ideal place to unwind and offers a fine selection of cocktails, wines, liquors and cigars. The library bar has a collection of fine books, old manuscripts and board games like chess and backgammon.

Premier Rooms - These rooms are located around a tranquil courtyard in a traditional Rajasthani setting with a garden and fountains in each cluster.
Luxury Tents - The Luxury Tents are a unique feature of the resort and are fully air conditioned featuring Burma teak floors and simple but luxurious embroidered canopies. Each tent includes a private patio and garden enclosed by a mud wall as well as a bedroom with king sized bed, dressing room, walk in closet, and bathroom with two vanity counters, claw footed bathtub, and separate shower.
Royal Tent - The Royal Tent has two separate tents with one being the master bedroom and the other being the living room. The gorgeous air conditioned living room tent has a dining table, small lounge, and a washroom while the air conditioned bedroom tent offers spacious interior with Burma teak flooring and a bathroom with two separate vanity counters, free standing colonial style bathtub, and separate shower cubicle.
Luxury Villa with Private Pool - The Luxury Villa features a private swimming pool that is heated in winter, a bedroom with a four poster king sized bed and dressing room with a walk in closet. The Villa also offers an en-suite marble bathroom with a double vanity counter, sunken bath, and separate shower cubicle overlooking the private walled garden along with a separate living room, pantry, and outdoor dining pavilion.
Kohinoor Villa with Private Pool - The Kohinoor Villa features a private swimming pool, private gardens, and an outdoor dining pavilion as well as a separate living and dining room that opens out to the gardens and pool. The master bedroom has an adjoining lounge area and a guest bedroom. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.
