The Shangri La Bar Al Jissah Resort and Spa consists of three hotels - the Al Waha which lies at the end of a man made tunnel facing the sea of Oman with its own oasis formed from several swimming pools merging together, the Al Bandar which resembles a town with multiple fine restaurants, and finally the Al Husn which is an exclusive castle and its rooms and suites are among the largest in Oman.

Oman is definitely not a summer destination as temperatures can reach well above 37 degrees Celsius. However, from October to April, temperatures stay comfortable making this the best time to visit.

Sultanah - Al Husn's Sultanah presents itself as the interior of a luxury cruise ship where diners are treated to spectacular sea views. Fairouz - Al Husn's Fairouz was inspired by the legendary Lebanese singer. The menu is a mix of hot and cold mezze, grills, and authentic pastries. Zafran Caf'e - Al Husn's Zafran Caf'e serves coffee, teas, pastries, and light meals and is close to the middle of the shopping arcade and close to the children's facilities. Zafran Caf'e is ideal for leisure dining. Zafran Caf'e serves both lunch and dinner. Dress is casual.

Al Waha Superior Room
The Superior Rooms are 32 square metres and have views of either the lush gardens or pool. These rooms feature a balcony or patio furnished with a table and two chairs as well as a separate bath and shower cubicle.

The Superior Sea View Rooms offer all the amenities of the Superior Rooms with the added feature of a spectacular view of the Bay of Al Jissah.
Al Waha Executive Sea View Room
The Executive Sea View Rooms are ideal for families or groups with their generous accommodations. Each room offers 45 square metres of living space and includes a sofa as well as breath taking views of the Gulf of Oman.
Al Waha Family Room
The Family Rooms are ideal for families or groups with their two interconnecting bedrooms. One bedroom has a king sized bed while the other has twin beds. Each room has its own bathroom.
Al Waha One Bedroom Suite
The One Bedroom Suites are ideal for groups or guests requiring extra space and/or amenities. The suites have beautiful views over the garden and the Sea of Oman. Each suite features a separate sitting room and dining area and has 68 square metres of living area.

Al Bandar Premier Room
The Premier Rooms are 51 square metres and are some of the largest non-suite rooms in Oman. They feature a balcony or patio furnished with a table and two chairs and have beautiful views over the garden and pools toward the Gulf of Oman.

Al Husn Royalty Suite
The Royalty Suite was inspired by the famous seventeenth-century Omani castle at Jabreen. The suite features the elegant luxury of Arabian royalty and includes a private elevator and butler service. Also featured are panoramic views of the Sea of Oman and one bedroom with a separate sitting room and ding area. This suite offers over 500 square metres of living area.
