- We recommend the early morning Nature walk on the bunds of the two reservoirs that border the property. Guests will be given a custom made guide bird guide book with over 90 species of birds that they might be able to spot during the walk.
- For Honeymooners Villa no 7 would be the best as it has a tree top deck for private dining.
- Cycle around the ancient city of Anuradhapura and visit an old monastery on Ritigala Mountain

Anuradhapura weather is diverse enough to enjoy all year round for a variety of activities. April and September are the high season, when the weather becomes dry and sunny. October to March is considered the wet season but can also be a lovely time to visit.

The focus is on privacy and conservation giving you a perfect hideaway and the private deck and plunge pool further offer a secluded environment. The spa, walks and nature based excursions are delightful - we recommend a morning walk along the reservoir to get the best bird viewing opportunities in!

The resort has a main restaurant and also allows for guests to dine on their private deck or in the rice paddies.
Liya Wela Restaurant - The restaurant offers traditional Sri Lankan cuisine along with Eastern and Western options as well. The venue is decorated with traditional furnishings to create a warm and cosy feel and also has beautiful views of the lush greenery that surrounds the hotel when seated on the upper deck.

These are 850 square feet in size offering glass walls and panoramic views of the grounds, it has its own deck and a secluded private plunge pool.
Nikawewa Villa
This 1200 sq ft suite located around the rice paddies is ideal for a family as it offers two bedrooms surrounding a living and dining area. Glass walls offer breathtaking views of the 20 acres of paddy field and it also has a length pool.
