  Dining

Le Normandie - Le Normandie is one of the most exclusive French fine dining restaurants in Asia and is widely loved. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the very best of Bangkok across the river, while inside there are elegantly draped ceilings, stunning chandeliers and Thai silks. There is a choice of a set menu or a la carte menu specialising in delicious seafood and perfectly cooked meat dishes. Elegant attire is required of ladies and dinner jackets are compulsory for men.

Sala Rim Naam - Sala Rim Naam offers authentic Thai food, set in the most luxurious of settings. Vichit Mukura, the head chef, has created a bespoke menu which highlights all the reasons the best of Thai cookery. However, it's not only the cuisine that is the pinnacle of an evening at Sala Rim Naam - it is also the entertainment. A classical Thai dance show is performed every night for guests to experience Thai culture.

Lord Jim's - Lord Jim's is a seafood haven. With unobstructed views across the river, Lord Jim's serves up one of the most popular buffet lunches in Bangkok, and for dinner a set menu or choice of a la carte dining. It is particularly known for its sushi and sashimi dishes, but other highlights are the Iced Seafood Tower, Seared Duck Foie Gras, Whole Mediterranean Sea Bass Baked in Rock Salt Crust and the Atlantic Lobster Thermidor.

The China House - Executive Chef Andy Leong Siew Fye brings an impressive menu to the fine dining Cantonese restaurant, The China House. The restaurant sits within a two-story colonial building, and with their old-world feel and dark wood furnishings, it makes for the perfect spot for a romantic and intimate dinner. The highlights of the menu are the Oven Roasted Peking Duck, Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin and Wasabi Prawns.

Riverside Terrace - The Riverside Terrace is the perfect spot for al fresco dining. An international buffet is served every night and is accompanied by a live band. On the menu you can expect Indian Japanese sushi and teppanyaki, Lebanese mezze, fresh seafood as well as mouth-watering barbecued meats.

The Verandah - Combing Asian and Western dishes, The Verandah is available for all day dining. Served both indoors and outdoors overlooking the river, their a la carte menu takes you from breakfast through to late evening snacks. The Veranda's freshly baked pastries and homemade ice cream are truly special.

Ciao - Serving a delicious selection of classic Italian dishes and Spuntino (Italian tapas), Ciao offers a relaxed atmosphere. Chef Luca draws on his experience of travelling across Europe and Asia to create a unique menu. Top recommendations include: Bruschetta Con Stracchino, Calamari E Gamberi as well as a house special of Ossobuco 'Milanese' with saffron risotto and Gremolata.

Authors' Lounge - Colonial charm a la white-washed rattan furniture, Siamese umbrellas and graceful bamboo and palm trees, make for the perfect afternoon tea setting. It is considered to be a city institution for traditional English afternoon tea with scones, finger sandwiches and cakes and a collection of the world's finest teas.

The Bamboo Bar - Bamboo Bar is honoured with the reputation of being the best live jazz spot in the city. Its interior evokes the look of an African safari lodge - Animal print seats and dark wood floors. However, it's the extensive menu of cocktails and the live music which has hotel guests as well as locals alike turning up. We recommend the Thaijito - Mekhong Whiskey, Brown Sugar, Battered Fresh Lemongrass, Fresh Lime and Shredded Fresh Ginger - the perfect post dinner drink.
