Founded in 1923 the Menemsha Inn and Cottages is the quintessential Martha’s Vineyard hideaway. Located in the 300 year-old fishing village of Menemsha, the inn is nestled on 16 acres of flowering gardens and green fields which roll westward towards a sweeping vista of the waters of Menemsha Bight. Luxurious yet laid-back, guests can stay in one of 15 luxury rooms within the Carriage House or the Tea House, or they can choose the unique Mainstay suite. Breathtaking ocean views or picturesque garden views are yours to enjoy, along with the comforts of king-sized beds, spacious living rooms, flat screen televisions and much much more.

Beach Plum Inn Restaurant
Praised for its fresh farm-to-table cuisine and panoramic sunset views, the Beach Plum Inn Restaurant provides a dining experience that tantalises all the senses and is a favourite of island residents and visitors alike. The patio is a delightful spot to relax with a gourmet breakfast and watch the Menemsha fleet head out to gather the daily catch.
Home Port Restaurant
Since 1930, The Home Port Restaurant has been serving traditional seafood fare in the 300-year-old fishing port of Menemsha on the island of Martha's Vineyard. Known for its world famous sunsets, lobster dinners and famed clam chowder, this waterfront restaurant is truly an iconic landmark. For generations, dinner at the Home Port has been an important part of many a Vineyard tradition.
Carriage House
The Carriage House provides 6 luxury, 1-bedroom ocean-view rooms. The rooms feature king size beds, sun decks, flat screen televisions and a sitting area
Tea House Rooms
The Tea House building contains six ocean view rooms and three garden view rooms. The rooms feature king size beds, sun decks and flat screen televisions.
Mainstay Suite
The spacious, 2-bedroom suite features classic Vineyard and Nantucket design and all the comforts of home. Guests will appreciate the attention to detail in the Mainstay. From the king bed with a large vineyard cottage headboard paired with matching dresser and end tables, to the open living room decorated with Nantucket striped walls, the Mainstay is a sublime retreat to recharge and rejuvenate.
Sea View Cottages
All Sea View Cottages feature king size beds, a sitting area, a cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with dining table, screened porches and bbq grills.
