The Violet is a traditional Vietnamese junk boat which has been completely refurbished in classic Indochinese style to offer every luxury to it’s passengers. Offering a boutique dining room, library and lounge, spa and gym along with six luxury cabins, guests are afforded every luxury on board while enjoying the picturesque scenery along the way. Each cabin is individually themed and offers a marble bathroom, and private balcony. The Violet offers the perfect way to explore this part of Vietnam in complete comfort.

The ideal place to sample the delights of Vietnamese cuisine, the restaurant boasts gourmet cuisine and fresh fish caught that day. International breakfasts are offered in the mornings while gazing at the sunrise. Later in the day the chef specialises in Vietnamese fusion dishes of the highest quality.
Deluxe Rooms
Themed after the key elements of the Ha Long Bay there are two of these rooms available The Water Deluxe & The Mountain Deluxe. The Water Deluxe has a king bed and a soft white ocean-like ambience surrounds you in the room. The Mountain Deluxe is equipped with a Twin and carries a more yellowish tone. The rooms have 25 sqm floor space, a private balcony, a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi to relax in.
Suites
There are four suites available on the Violet Junk Cruise Boat. They are called Dragon, Phoenix, Moon (double) and Cloud (Twin). As the Deluxe all four come with its single designed 1930 Indochine décor. Large windows give full view to the Bay. While the Phoenix and Dragon come more in reddish hue with golden or silver deco elements and fabrics, the Cloud and the Moon have a more dreamy-white or wistful sky-blue outfit. All of them pay meticulous attention to detail: plush king solid wood beds, exotic dark furniture, charming fabrics and decorative walls and ceilings paintings to feel like a regal. The suites sit on the upper deck with 38 sqm space including stunning bay views from the private balcony (5sqm).
