Vietnam is a stunning destination and a great place to introduce children to a new culture, with Vietnam having a distinct and fascinating cultural background. There is also plenty of opportunity to enjoy some great family-friendly activities together; you can explore the beautiful scenery (not forgetting the beaches of course), visit the many different sites of cultural and historical significance, and enjoy plenty of other fun activities like rowing in a basket boat.

Laos may not be an obvious family destination, but like Vietnam this is another place that is great for exposing children to a new culture, as well as being home to many fun activities that the whole family can enjoy together. Go for walks and take in the scenic beauty, visit the fascinating cultural sites like the beautiful pagodas of Vientiane and enjoy other fun activities like rafting, nature walks, and viewing wildlife.
