Singapore Airlines Launches Premium Economy

Famed worldwide for its first class, Singapore Airlines last month released its new premium economy class.

A great option for those travellers who do not want to break the bank with business or first class, premium economy is a step up from economy with wider seats, more leg room and baggage allowance, and even a welcome glass of champagne. Premium economy travellers will also be provided with noise-cancelling headphones for the flight, which they can use to enjoy the programming on a 13.3-inch high-definition screen.

Singapore Airlines will be spending $80 million refitting close to 40 planes and implementing the new premium economy in any new aircraft.
